There are several key arguments that are found within the book. The overarching argument is that the sign gifts are for today and represent an aspect of the Gospel as Scripture declares. One of the sign gifts that is most represented in the Gospels and the early Church was deliverance and healing. With this being the case, those who protest (Cessationism) against the "sign gifts" being in operation are committing a grave sin. Within the book, I spend much time examining the arguments of Cessationism, defining false teaching in the Old and New Testaments, thus revealing through the Scriptures the power that is at work in the unseen. Also, since doctrinal error is such a severe trespass, I examine the relationship between false teaching and apostasy.

Rashad Gibson’s new book release, The Deception of Eloquence will be soon available at Amazon, in Kindle and at other fine online bookstores.

The Gospel in 3D:

Discovering the Proclamation, Power, and Practical Love of the Gospel

Book Release: January of 2017

The book covers the fulness of the Gospel. Firstly, it is an apologetic witness that elaborates on the evidence of Jesus Christ through the prophetic witness found in the Old Testament and throughly discusses what was accomplished on the Cross from Old and New Testaments. In addition, to the prophetic and spoken witness of the Gospel, I discuss the practical side of the Gospel: power and practical love. While uncovering the power aspect, I reveal the activities of Jesus and the apostles and the effect it had on the populous; therefore, we should follow suit. The practical love aspect is what ties the prophetic, proclamation, and power together. I spend a good portion of the practical love aspect in encouraging the church to make it a priority to minister to the poor and downtrodden since the Lord places much emphasis on that community. I give keys in the book that if the church brings all three aspects together, revival and restoration will not be far off.

Author Rashad Gibson

Rashad Gibson came to know the Lord on May 28, 2003. Before that day, he was living a completely immoral life. More specifically, that weekend previously was Memorial Day weekend in which he indulged in many immoral activities that included drinking, drug use, and etc. However, after the weekend concluded, that following Wednesday, he had awakened to an extreme conviction on how he was living his life. Throughout the day, he was pondering what was going on with himself and understood that he had to change his life. On his way home from work, he had burst out in tears because the conviction was so heavy. When he had reached the residence in which he was staying, he went to his room and prayed to the Lord to forgive him for how he was living. Then he slept.

The following morning he woke up and the conviction was gone. In addition, later on that day, he went to a car wash to clean the inside of his vehicle out. While he was vacuuming the inside of his car, there was a woman that was staring at him. The woman waved her hand towards him, signaling him to walk towards her.  When he arrived at the woman’s car, the first thing she said, “I didn’t call you over here to flirt with you. But God has told me to tell you that your prayers have been answered and you have been blessed.” Since that day, he has been following the Lord.

 Ministry Aspirations (In the Works)

I am currently writing another book entitled “The Gospel in 3D: Discovering the Proclamation, Power, and Practical Love of the Gospel”. I am hoping to have that finished within next 2-3 months.

After completing these books, I am looking to begin a ministry- Mizpah Gospel Mission. This ministry will be centered on the Proclamation of the Gospel in its entirety, Demonstrating the Power of God through deliverance and healing, and have a keen focus in helping the poor and needy. My prayer and hope is that this ministry will develop into a church-planting network that will lead the people of God back to prayer, proclamation, power demonstrated, and practical love that reaches the poor and needy.
