There are several key arguments that are found within the book. The overarching argument is that the sign gifts are for today and represent an aspect of the Gospel as Scripture declares. One of the sign gifts that is most represented in the Gospels and the early Church was deliverance and healing. With this being the case, those who protest (Cessationism) against the "sign gifts" being in operation are committing a grave sin. Within the book, I spend much time examining the arguments of Cessationism, defining false teaching in the Old and New Testaments, thus revealing through the Scriptures the power that is at work in the unseen. Also, since doctrinal error is such a severe trespass, I examine the relationship between false teaching and apostasy.
